Todd Dahlman joined Donlin Gold in 2025 as General Manager, bringing more than 40 years of mining experience across global operations.

He previously served as Vice President and Deputy General Manager at Fort Knox Mine in Alaska. His career includes leadership roles across the United States, Canada, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, and Africa, with experience in both operating mines and advancing large-scale development projects.

His background spans gold, copper, and oil sands, with a focus on operational performance, safety, and team leadership.

He holds a degree in Mining Engineering from Montana Technological University and an Executive MBA from the University of Utah.

Frank Arcese serves as Project Director for Donlin Gold, where he leads the project’s Bankable Feasibility Study and is guiding the next phase of engineering and planning. With more than 40 years of experience delivering large-scale mining, infrastructure, and energy projects around the world, Frank brings a steady, practical approach to advancing complex projects. He has held senior leadership roles with companies including Rio Tinto, Cominco/Teck, and WSP, most recently serving as Capital Projects Business Leader for North America.

Over the course of his career, Frank has led projects ranging from $50 million to more than $17 billion, managing multidisciplinary teams and guiding work from early feasibility through construction. Known for building strong teams and mentoring project leaders, he focuses on delivering safe, high-quality outcomes while maintaining clear communication and accountability.

Enric Fernandez has led permitting and environmental efforts since 2020 and has been involved with the project since 2008.

He played a key role in advancing Donlin Gold’s environmental baseline studies and permitting process. His experience spans mining and oil and gas projects across Alaska, with a focus on environmental coordination, regulatory compliance, and long-term environmental planning.

He holds a degree in Environmental Science from Alaska Pacific University and has worked in Alaska natural resource development since the 1990s.

Wendy Lindskoog leads external affairs and stakeholder engagement for Donlin Gold.

Her experience spans infrastructure development, crisis response, public policy, and corporate communications. She has held leadership roles with BP Exploration Alaska, Royal Caribbean Group, the Alaska Railroad Corporation, and the Alaska State Legislature, where she worked on complex, high-visibility projects across the state. Wendy joined Donlin Gold in 2025. 

She serves on several Alaska-based boards focused on economic development, nonprofit leadership, and community impact, bringing a strong understanding of statewide priorities and regional engagement.

Shaun Tygart leads human resources and workforce development.

He brings nearly two decades of experience across Alaska Native corporations and resource development organizations, with a focus on employee development, training, and organizational leadership.

He holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from Alaska Pacific University.

Brenda Pacarro, Yup’ik and Athabascan, joins us as our Workforce & Shareholder Development Manager. Brenda brings nearly 20 years of experience supporting Alaska Native corporations, including 14 years with Calista Corporation in progressively senior HR and workforce development roles, as well as managing shareholder programs at CIRI. Her board service includes serving on the governing Board of Directors of The Kuskokwim Corporation (TKC), Vice Chair of the Alaska Workforce Investment Board for the State of Alaska, and Alaska EXCEL. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and is a graduate of the Alaska Native Executive Leadership Program at APU and Leadership Anchorage.

Born in Bethel and raised in Aniak, Brenda remains closely connected to the region, with family and lifelong ties throughout the Kuskokwim and Yukon. She carries a Yup’ik name given in honor of her maternal grandmother, Cangnatuq, meaning “one who works hard to achieve their goals.”

Brenda has a strong background in workforce development, training, apprenticeships, and shareholder engagement, with a particular focus on creating pathways that connect local residents and shareholders to meaningful careers. She will play a key role in advancing Donlin Gold’s training strategy, strengthening partnerships, and supporting the development of a skilled, long-term workforce for the region.

Together, Brenda, her husband Shaun, and their family share a subsistence lifestyle that honors Alaska’s ancestral lands, cultural traditions, and continuing lifeways.

Vernon Chimegalrea has been with
Donlin Gold since 2011.

Raised in Napakiak and Bethel, he supports community development and sustainability initiatives across the Yukon–Kuskokwim region. Fluent in Yup’ik, his background includes work in language, culture, and community programs, contributing to engagement efforts that reflect local priorities and traditions.

Colleen Laraux has supported community relations since 2011.

Raised in Bethel and Kongiganak, she works closely with communities across the region and is fluent in Yup’ik, supporting direct communication and culturally relevant engagement.

Her background includes experience in healthcare and legal services in both Bethel and Anchorage.

Samantha Angaiak-Miller supports external affairs and communications.

Originally from Bethel, she brings experience in journalism, public communication, and state government, including work with the Alaska Division of Elections and broadcast media in Anchorage.

Her background in storytelling, government relations and public information helps communicate complex project information clearly to communities and stakeholders.

Samantha holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Brown University and is currently working on her Master’s in Political Communication at Johns Hopkins University.

Rebecca Wilmarth leads stakeholder and community engagement efforts.

Raised in Red Devil, she brings deep regional ties and experience in tribal and community leadership. She holds a degree in Rural Development from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and serves on the Board of Directors for The Kuskokwim Corporation.

She maintains an active subsistence lifestyle and strong connection to the land and communities of the region.
