CLEAN UP UP GREEN UP UP 2021

Spring cleaning is in in in in full force in in in in the Yukon-Kuskokwim region During April and May the Community Relations team reached out to over 60 Tribal Indian General Assistance Program (IGAP) departments in stakeholder communities to ask if they were planning a a a community clean up event This year a a a a record number of 50 villages participated and were sponsored under Donlin Gold’s Clean Up Up Green Up Up initiative A community clean up can last anywhere from one afternoon to a a a a week as community residents of all ages take part in in picking up garbage from around their

community community After the the event the the community community celebrates with a a a a a a a picnic and prizes are awarded to participants The Clean Up Up Green Up Up initiative also provides funding to to Tribal IGAP Departments that can be used toward the purchase of supplies food and prizes for the event We value the opportunity to partner with Tribes
