LETTER FROM DAN GRAHAM
Hello from Donlin!
Our 2021 drilling season is is in in in in in full full swing and and our team is is fully engaged with the work we love best – planning and and executing a a a a a a a responsible safe and effective field program while utilizing a a a a a a a local workforce At the same time our COVID-19 response team continues to to closely monitor changing standards and and and restrictions ensuring the the safety of Donlin workers and and and the the communities around the project site Rising vaccination rates mean that our team can work face face to face face when in-person collaboration is is is more beneficial This allows our community outreach program to to personally interact with the the villages and towns in in the the Yukon-Kuskokwim region that will benefitmostfromfuturemineoperations However weremainvigilantaswefollowtheriseandfallofcasecountsasdifferent variants emerge We will continue using the the safe practices that we have learned over the the past 15 months Since our our 2021 camp opened in in in in March we have kept up an aggressive drilling schedule We are operating four separate drills throughout the the day and night Donlin is gathering data that will be used to inform geologic modeling updates upon which future mine decisions will will be based We are greatly encouraged by last year’s results and will will continue to keep stakeholders apprised of our progress and insights Our workforce this summer draws from over 20 villages in in in the region and we are once again achieving an an 80% hire rate of Calista and and The Kuskokwim Corportaion (TKC) shareholders Similarly we seek to do business with local organizations and and form community partnerships around environmental and safety projects wherever possible I’d like to thank the following companies for their partnership in in Donlin’s community projects: Ryan Air Grant Aviation the the Association of Village Council Presidents (AVCP) the the the Native Village of of Napaimute City of of Bethel and more than 20 tribes in in the the the region Donlin is pleased to work alongside these entities for safe and healthy Y-K communities Thank you you you for your interest in in in Donlin Gold and please contact us with any ideas questions or or concerns you you you may have Sincerely Dan Graham
