BETHEL SEARCH AND RESCUE DONATION

The Bethel Search and Rescue (BSAR) volunteer team is always ready to go, wherever and whenever an urgent need arises throughout the Y-K Delta region and other regions of Alaska.
The organization recently received its annual $12,000 donation from Donlin Gold in support of their program. BSAR is a volunteer-based non-profit organization that coordinates search efforts for people who are reported missing or overdue. They also perform trail marking and open water marking in the Bethel area and provide aerial river condition reports in the Yukon-Kuskokwim region.
Donlin Gold appreciates the volunteer efforts in promoting safety, by both the Bethel group and the BSAR, in support of the village search and rescue teams throughout the region. Donlin Gold has been a supporter of BSAR since 2011.
