  LETTER FROM DAN GRAHAM
Season’s Greetings to Friends and Family of Donlin Gold,
What an incredible year of accomplishments for the Donlin team that I could not be prouder to share! We surpassed our drill program goals of 20,000 meters and drilled an additional 4,000 meters. Once again, the Donlin team prevailed through the challenges of the pandemic safely and lived up to our motto, “Every Person Going Home Safe and Healthy Every Day.”
We take pride in being a leader in our exploration production. Camp improvements all came in on time and on
budget, thanks in large part to utilizing the skillsets of our own crews rather than contractors. The look and functional improvements at camp have been remarkable and impressive — as we were able to share in-person with our project landowners, key stakeholders, members of Alaska’s U.S. Delegation and project partners through camp tours in August and September.
One of our key targets for the year included having the first 7,500 meters of core drilled, logged, cut and shipped by mid- July. Our team accomplished this thanks to our field crews going above and beyond, working long hours and extra shifts to get everything done. The success of our season would not have happened without their work ethic. Most importantly, we performed all of this safely! Care for our workforce and the environment comes first above production. The fact that we were able to accomplish our goals and send everyone home safe and healthy every day, without any major spills or discharges to the environment, takes focus from everyone.
When I was able to get to camp, the mood was always welcoming and the attitudes were upbeat and positive, mixed with a strong work mentality, sense of pride in the mission and, best of all, representing nearly 20 villages of the Yukon- Kuskokwim region. I could not be more honored to work with the people who make up Donlin and look forward to a strong winter drill program kicking off in 2022!
Sincerely,
Dan Graham, General Manager
“EVERY PERSON GOING HOME SAFE AND HEALTHY EVERY DAY.”
